Since 2022
The idea for the Naked Adventure Club of Detroit took shape in 2021, after our founder Timmy attended the Young Naturist Bash at White Thorn Lodge hosted by the Pittsburgh Area Naturists. Inspired by the incredible people he met and the sense of community he experienced, he knew Detroit needed an organization like that too. On January 28th, 2022, NACD held its very first gathering—a basement event with just a half-dozen adventurous souls. We've now grown to over 800 members on the Meetup app and sell out events!
2026 AND BEYOND
As a non-profit organization, we’re committed to building strong partnerships with venues and local jurisdictions to expand our reach and continue offering the highest-quality naturist events to our community across Metro Detroit. As part of our long-term vision, we’re also working toward securing a dedicated home base for NACD—our own community space where most events can take place. Think of it as a “VFW for naked people,” a welcoming hub created by and for the naturist community.
